🕛 Integrated True Day Range – Why it changes everything #

The indicator lets you choose between two calculation modes for all Previous Levels and Open levels:

• Classic Mode: Based on the Daily candle open at 5PM (New York time), just like on TradingView

 → A Classic PDH covers the range from 5PM (2 days ago) to 5PM (1 day ago)

 🕓 That means 4PM–4PM during Daylight Saving Time (UTC-4), and 5PM–5PM during Standard Time (UTC-5)

• True Day Range Mode: Based on the real institutional daily open at 00:00 (New York time), as taught by ICT

 → A True Day Range PDH spans from midnight to midnight

💡 This setting completely changes how the indicator reads market structure — aligning it with real institutional activity.

📌 Example – Why it matters #

Classic and True Day Range modes often produce different levels for the same day.

👉 Price may tap the Previous Day High in True Day Range, while leaving the Classic PDH untouched — or vice versa.

🎯 This level of precision allows the indicator to align with ICT’s institutional logic more faithfully.

🔔 Built-in alerts #

• A PDH / PDL is taken
• A PWH / PWL is swept

🔄 Connection with SMT #

Previous levels (along with Asian High / Low) are used in SMT calculations.

👉 When a level is taken on one asset but not on the other, an SMT divergence can be detected — helping you spot the stronger and weaker asset in a pair.
