🔔 Step 1 – Check if an Update Is Available #

When an update is released, a small purple icon with two arrows appears next to the indicator’s name.

📍 You’ll find it here:

• In the list of indicators (top-left of your chart)
• Next to the indicator’s name already added to your chart

Look for this icon: 🔄

⚙️ Step 2 – Apply the Update #

You can’t miss it — it appears automatically when an update is available.

On the right of the indicator’s name :

1. Click on the purple 🔄 icon

2. A small pop-up will appear

3. Click “Update to latest version”

4. Done — your chart is now using the latest version

💡 Important: Save Your Settings Before Updating #

When you update, TradingView resets all parameters to default — so don’t forget to save your custom setup first:

1. Click the “Templates” icon (four squares next to the “Indicators” button)

2. Choose “Save Indicator Template”

3. Name it (e.g. “ICT Setup”)

4. After the update, apply your template to instantly restore your layout and settings
