🛠️ BPR – Application #
Using Double Imbalance Zones Effectively with the Momentum Structure Indicator
✅ Enable BPR in the Settings #
To display Balanced Price Range (BPR) zones on your chart, check the option:
- Show under the BPR (Double Imbalance) section

🔧 You can also customize:
- Bullish and Bearish zone colors
- Midline style and thickness
- Filled background with the Filled checkbox
- Automatic deletion with Delete Mitigated
💡 Tip: Use distinct colors from FVG/VI to easily spot BPR zones at a glance.
🔄 Manage Zone Extension #
Just like FVG/VI, you have three display options:
- No Extension – the box ends at the body of the last candle involved
- Current Bar – the box extends up to the current price
- Extend Right – the box extends rightward until fully filled
💡 This keeps the BPR visible during future price action.
🧽 Manage Filled Zones #
You can define when a BPR should be automatically removed:
- 100% – the zone disappears only if fully filled
- 50% – the zone disappears once price reaches the midline
⚖️ Display the Midline #
Enable the Midline option to display the BPR’s center line. It’s a key level:
- Represents the ideal balance between buyers and sellers
- Price often reacts to it (rejection, test, or fake mitigation)
💡 Enable this if you’re looking for precise entries.
🧩 Tips & Best Practices #
- BPRs are often stronger than isolated FVGs — use them as high-probability support/resistance zones
- Combine them with other modules of the indicator: when used smartly, BPRs offer surgical-level entry points
- Watch how price reacts around the midline — it often signals reversals or fake mitigation attempts
